Finn-Medi is a unique pool of expertise in healthcare and biotechnology based in Tampere, Finland. A combination of multi-disciplinary, technological, bio-medical and medical expertise and an efficient operational environment, it gathers experts and services in education, research, healthcare and business. In terms of location, the network revolves around the Finn-Medi campus area comprising the technology centre that focuses on research and development activities and new business generation, the Tampere University Hospital and the Finn-Medi Park. Another significant hub in the network is located in the premises of Tampere University of Technology and Technology Centre Hermia.

Finn-Medi Research serves as an essential interface between the companies and organizations of Finn-Medi and the resources they need. Our role is also to be in charge for co-ordinating and developing a joint operating model for the Finn-Medi network in the Tampere region.
